QwickStart FontCreator

If I were a NEW FontCreator user there are a few items I would like to know about in the first few minutes:

First, we have a lot of control over what we see when we first start FC.
Click on View > Toolbars and turn on or off anything you want.
The light words can only be accessed from within the individual Glyph Edit Windows.

Second, The Blue shapes we see in the windows are The Overview Background Font.
Whatever font we select (from Installed Fonts) sets the New Font parameters;
Win Assent, Win Descent, Cap-height, x-height, Bearings for each glyph ...

Change the Background font by Tools > Options > Overview > Font used by (Background) Samples.

Don't confuse the Background Sample with the Left side Samples that can be clicked on and drug into any Glyph Editing Window.
These can be selected from any font any where, and are changed by Tools > Options > Sample.
Leave this line blank if you wish to return to the High-Logic Default.
